Missed so much but Hiking in England!

I've been away for a few weeks and I sure did miss a lot in Connecticut and the surrounding areas.  Sidewalk sales, The Gathering of the Vibes in Bridgeport, State parks had free admission last weekend, Alive at 5 Concerts in Stamford and there was even an Icelandic Fair in Katonah, NY with Icelandic Ponies - and those ponies are really cute.  (BTW - Katonah Museum of Art is having an Iceland Exhibit until Sept. 28th.  katonahmuseum.org).

I'm back now and looking for some things to do in the area.  We did do some great hiking. Hiked in the Lake District and The Peak District in England.  Yes, the hiking was cheap but not so much getting there.
